Mediterranean Bridges 2026: A Unique Opportunity for North African Students
The Mediterranean Bridges workshop series, promoted by the Institute for Italy-Africa Dialogue (IDIAF) of the Treccani Cultura Foundation, offers a unique opportunity for young students to engage in intercultural exchange through art, curatorship and storytelling.
Taking place in Rome on 4, 10 and 17 June 2026, the programme will bring together 20 university students (10 Italian and 10 from North Africa) for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. Hosted at the prestigious Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, the workshops will explore how cultural heritage can serve as a shared language across borders.
Participants will:
- Gain practical skills in physical and digital curation
- Explore cultural storytelling through podcast production
- Collaborate in an international and interdisciplinary environment
The programme follows a learning-by-doing approach, combining theoretical insights with practical activities, including exhibition design exercises, digital projects and audio content creation.
At the end of the series, participants who attend all sessions will receive a Certificate of Participation.
